Irvine’s Shakespeare in the Park series highlights two new Summer performances; Antony and Cleopatra on Sunday, July 13 and A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Sunday, July 20. Both events feature the theatrical talents of Shakespeare by the Sea, a Southern California-based organization that brings professional quality tales of Shakespeare to local communities. Pre-show activities begin at 6:30 p.m.; the feature presentation at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free. Residents are encouraged to bring low-back lawn chairs, layered clothing, blankets and a picnic dinner to enjoy the show.
